Questions

Frequently asked questions

How it works, what we need from you and what you get back: lifestyle and studio product images for furniture and home brands, made from a single photo.

Getting started

What do I need to send you?

One clear photo of your product is usually enough. A quick shot against a plain wall works. Extra angles or close-ups help when you want detail shots of fabric, wood grain or hardware.

Do I need to ship my product for a photoshoot?

No. We place your product into a styled room or a clean studio set from your photo, so you get lifestyle and studio images without shipping samples, booking a studio or hiring a stylist.

Can I test the quality before committing?

Yes. Request a free visual: send one product photo and we return a styled lifestyle image of your product within 24 hours, so you can judge realism, lighting and styling before starting a full project.

Can you work from a phone photo?

Yes, in most cases. A sharp, well-lit phone photo that shows the whole product is enough to start. If a photo is too dark or blurry, we'll tell you what to reshoot before we begin.

What kinds of products do you work with?

Furniture, mattresses and bedding, outdoor and patio furniture, lighting, kitchen appliances, tableware and home décor.

Do you work with brands outside Montreal?

Yes. We're based in Montreal and work with home brands across Canada, the US and overseas. Everything happens online.

Lifestyle & studio images

What is a lifestyle product image?

A lifestyle image shows your product in a real-looking setting, such as a sofa in a living room or a mattress in a bedroom, styled with props and natural light. It helps shoppers picture the product in their own home and understand its size and style.

Lifestyle or studio shots: which do I need?

Most brands need both. Studio shots on white show the product clearly and are required as the main image on most marketplaces. Lifestyle scenes sell the mood and scale, and work best for product pages, ads, social media and catalogues.

Can you show every colour and finish?

Yes. Colourways, fabrics and finishes can be shown in the same scene without a reshoot, so your whole range stays consistent.

Can you add a new product to a scene we already have?

Yes. We can swap a new product into one of your existing room scenes, or restyle a scene for a new season or campaign.

Can you show the same room in morning, daylight and evening light?

Yes. The same scene can be lit for morning, afternoon or evening, which is especially useful for lighting, outdoor furniture and seasonal campaigns.

Will the images look like my real product?

Every image is checked against your product for colour, material and proportions. You review the images before anything is final.

Can you improve a low-quality product photo?

Often, yes. We can clean up, relight and rebuild a weak photo into a sharp, high-resolution image. If the original is missing detail we need, we'll ask for one more photo.

Amazon, Wayfair & online stores

Can you create product images for Amazon and Wayfair?

Yes. Main images on pure white, lifestyle room scenes, dimension and feature infographics and A+ / enhanced brand content, sized to each marketplace's requirements. We also create content for Shopify stores, Home Depot, Walmart, Costco and other retailers.

What does Amazon require for the main product image?

Amazon asks for the product on a pure white background, filling most of the frame, with no added text, logos or props. Large, sharp images also enable zoom. Lifestyle scenes, infographics and close-ups go in the additional image slots.

How many images should a furniture listing have?

Aim to fill every image slot the marketplace allows: a main image on white, two or three lifestyle scenes, a dimensions infographic, close-ups of materials and details, and the product in other colours if you sell them.

What is A+ content?

A+ content (called enhanced brand content on some platforms) is the image-rich section lower on a product page: wide banners, comparison charts and feature modules. Strong A+ visuals help shoppers understand the product and can improve conversion.

Do you make infographics with dimensions?

Yes. Dimension overlays, feature callouts and material details, designed to stay readable on a phone screen.

Do you make product videos?

Yes. Short product videos made from your images, plus dimension overlays and infographics for listings and ads.

Pricing & process

How much does it cost?

Projects are quoted per image, per product or per collection, depending on what you need. Start with a free visual and we'll send ideas and a quote for the full set.

Is it cheaper than a traditional photoshoot?

Usually, yes. There's no studio rental, set building, shipping or props to buy, and new colourways or seasonal versions don't need a reshoot.

How does a project work?

Send a product photo, approve the direction on the first image, then we produce the full set. You get the images in the sizes you need for your website, listings, catalogues and ads.

Can I request changes?

Yes. You review the first image before we produce the full set, so styling, colours and props can be adjusted early.

Who styles the images?

Interior designers with more than 15 years of experience in homes, hotels, showrooms and trade-show stands. We know how materials, proportions and light should look.

Are my photos kept private?

Yes. Your photos stay private and are used only to create your visuals.

How do I get started?

Send one product photo through the free visual page. We'll send back a styled image of your product, then ideas and a quote for the full set.
